Middlesex University is a university in north London, England. It is located in the historic county boundaries of Middlesex from which it takes its name.

Work placements

Work placements can be undertaken during your course and offer you the opportunity to put theory into practice in a real work environment. You will gain valuable employability skills, as well as enhancing your academic achievement in preparation for your future career. Placements are a standard part of many courses and a possibility on several others, giving you the chance to undertake work directly related to your programme of study. Work experience placements are supported across the University by a network of dedicated placement officers.

Accommodation

Middlesex offers self-catering housing for nearly 1200 students across six halls of residence – all of which have IT network access points. Student accommodation ranges from study bedrooms with en suite facilities, to traditional style halls with shared kitchens and bathrooms. However, you may want to rent student accommodation privately – university can help here too. The average cost per week of a room in halls is £94 to £120. The average cost per week of a room in private rented accommodation is £85 to £115.
